Time to start getting serious.

Well hello! This is my very first blog.

  I'm very excited about starting my new course - DD101 Introducting the Social Sciences. It is as subject I have been interested in for several years and I put off applying for any courses because I didn't believe I had the intelligence to complete the course.

   Back in February I had a miscarriage and it took me several months to, not get over it as such because it's not something you can ever get over, but I learned to cope. I realised that I was working in a dead end job that I was basically just doing because I had nothing else to do. That was when I decided that it was time to get serious about my life. I am only 24 years old and I want to do something with my life before I get to that age where I get stuck in a rut and won't do anything about it. So I signed up for this course which will eventually (hopefully) lead to the Criminology and Psychology degree.

  I am very lucky that I have a supportive family, an amazing Fiance and a best friend who is always there to help if I need it.

 I AM going to complete this course with good marks!
